Opportunity In The Law
“Many years ago when picking a career, when I looked at the practice of law, I felt like I saw a lot of opportunity,” Kimberly said.
“So there are attorneys who change their practice areas, who really develop into practice areas, and it felt like as a person that I had a lot of room to continue to grow and learn over the course of my entire life and career.”
The Law Is Constantly Changing
“I also found that the law was constantly changing,” Kimberly said. “People are fighting back and forth and pushing back over back and forth over where the needle should lie. And I thought that was an exciting thing to be a part of.”
We Are Helping Change The Law
“I enjoy practicing law because often when we’re working with our clients on their issues, we are helping change the law and move things forward for the good, I love being a part of that,” Kimberly said.
Reading, Writing, And Numbers
“I have focused on reading and writing and developing those aspects of the profession,” Kimberly said. “But I’ve also focused on working with numbers, which is something that many attorneys do not do.”
Financial Research For Resolution To Client Problems
“In our practice areas here with employment law, we often work with a lot of payroll information,” Kimberly said. “In trust and probate litigation, we’re often dealing with a lot of different financial statements and Excel spreadsheets. I feel very comfortable moving through those documents and help finding those hidden answers that help bring the resolution for our clients.”
A Constant For Clients In Challenging Times
“I believe it is my role to be a constant for the client,” Kimberly said. “If a client is hiring a litigator, they’ve often already been through a challenging and difficult time and I believe my role is to provide a rational analysis of the facts and the law and keep the client moving forward in their lives to bring a resolution to this matter.”
Work-Life Balance Gives Clients The Best
“As an attorney and as a mom, I think that having work-life balance is really important,” Kimberly said. “I also think that feeds into the relationships that the firm has with their clients, and that it’s very realistic, that it’s very open and reasonable.”
Answers – Even If You Don’t Like Them
“What you will find is communication that’s going to give you answers, even if you don’t like them,” Kimberly said. “You’re going to find attorneys who are going to tell you the truth about your issue, even if you don’t like it. And you’re going to find people who are really invested and care about you.”
