Attorney Ronald D. Kwentus

Ronald D. Kwentus

Background

Florida attorney Ronald “Ron” Kwentus is Litigation Counsel at Bloodworth Law, PLLC. Ron has 25 years of legal experience, including focuses on:

  • Business and Commercial Litigation
  • Probate Litigation
  • Trust Litigation

Having spent years representing both sides in lawsuits, Ron holds the unique perspective of knowing how to see things as a plaintiff’s attorney and a defendant’s attorney.

“I know what the other side is thinking,” Ron said. And it’s most valuable in the settlement context because I know exactly what kind of conversation is happening on the other side. I know what it’s going to take to get it done.”

Ron joined Bloodworth Law after practicing with Missouri law firm Vatterott Harris P.C., in Maryland Heights, Missouri, for 17 years. While there, Ron handled Commercial Litigation, Probate and Trust Litigation, Landlord/Tenant Law, Mechanic’s Liens Issues, and Real Estate Issues.

Ron originally made the transition to the legal field after beginning his professional career as Sales/Service Manager at ImageFIRST Healthcare Linen, formerly Faultless Healthcare Linen, in Kansas City, Missouri.

Ron appreciates the elegance of a thoughtfully written legal argument. “In the law, we have to be persuasive, but we have to do so in a way that makes sure that we meet the technical requirements of the law,” Ron said. “I think my broad experience has shaped and sharpened this thought process.”

Ron enjoys legal research and crafting arguments that not only make the case, but do so in a manner that’s concise and convincing. Above all, he enjoys standing up for his clients in court.

Client Philosophy

“Being an attorney is a career designed for people who think about problem solving in a logical and methodical way. I examine a problem and figure out what the inputs and outputs are. I put it in a box and solve the problem in the box,” Ron said.

“When I put on my coat and tie and walk into a courtroom, I know that that words I am about to say could mean the difference between a business succeeding or failing, a person being able to recover from a horrible ordeal, or even a family being able to provide for their children. Nothing is more professionally rewarding than standing up for someone.”
